Every year, the Salt Lake Chamber recognizes exceptional female leaders through the ATHENA and Pathfinder Awards. The ATHENA Award is the Chamber’s highest honor, celebrating one woman whose leadership, service, and mentorship stand at the pinnacle of excellence. The Pathfinder Awards acknowledge several outstanding women who are forging meaningful paths in their industries and creating opportunities for others to follow. I was grateful to support the 2025 ceremony by editing some of the videos.

Ally Isom - 2025 Athena Award Winner
This video honors Ally Isom, the 2025 ATHENA Award recipient — a leader defined by courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment to elevating others. Throughout her career, Ally has championed women’s voices, opened doors for opportunity, and led with a rare blend of strength and empathy. Her U.S. Senate campaign reflected the core of who she is: a listener, a bridge-builder, and a tireless advocate for every community in Utah. This video celebrates Ally’s legacy of lifting others as she rises, and her enduring belief that leadership is most powerful when it amplifies the stories, struggles, and successes of those around us. Editing this was a joy and an inspiration. ​

Monnica Manual leads her company with an authenticity and personality that lifts and inspires others. It was so impactful to see the joy she brings to her team and the motivation she inspires in others. This edit went through a few phases before it became what it now is, I found the revising and editing process to be particularly powerful and insightful into my craft--i.e. there are so many ways to tell one story!
